Gold Expedition - Snowdonia

Over the last few months Flight sergeant Alex Adkin has successfully completed her Gold Duke Of Edinburgh Award. Far left of picture.

This follows close behind being selected as the wing representitive for the International Air Cadet exchange IACE. IACE gives a fantastic opportunity to take part in a culteral exchange in another part of the world, Alex has selected Canada as her prefered choice and we await to see if she will get her choice.

Alex has also been appointed to the highest cadet rank in the atc that of cadet warrant officer, she becomes only the 24th cadet on 1119 squadron to obtain this rank.

Finally, CWO Adkin also has the honour of being the first Lord Lieutenants Cadet ATC for Shropshire.

Our congratulations go to Alex whos hard work and endeavors both at Shrewsbury and the Detached Flight at Shawbury have been justly rewarded.
